Talent Summit

A famous Chinese saying goes “If you plan for one year – sow rice; if you plan for a decade – plant trees; if you plan for a lifetime – educate people.” Freudenberg strongly believes in the value of long-term orientation of its employees as a major success factor for its business. Ongoing training and further education according to its employees´ level of expertise and competency profile are therefore important cornerstones of the Human Resources policy. To underline the Group´s commitment to this, the China Executive Team, chaired by Hanno D. Wentzler, President and CEO of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities KG and Regional Representative China for the Freudenberg Group, was established. High Potentials, who have already gained some years work experience, have the opportunity of furthering their careers in a professional and dynamic working environment by participating in the Freudenberg China Talent Summit. Every two years the China Executive Team carefully selects Chinese talents from across the Freudenberg companies to participate in this two-year structured management program. The aim is to prepare the program members for a potential leadership role. It includes for example management and leadership related soft skills training, seminars and presentations. Through this training program, the company hopes to create a learning environment and allow the employees to develop and to be part of the Freudenberg culture.
